Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Announcing the equipment of 50 libraries, Mohammad Hadi Neya, in charge of the secretariat of art and cultural societies of mosques, Eastern Azerbaijan said that since the beginning of the year 1389, more than 50 libraries of art and cultural mosque societies of Eastern Azerbaijan have been equipped and more than 80 open libraries have been established with the provision of supplementary and general books.
Stating that equipment of 100 mosque libraries is next on the agendalist for 1389, he said: these libraries will be provided with general books relating to every field and supplementary books.
In charge of the secretariat of art and cultural mosque societies, Eastern Azerbaijan reiterated: according to the last statistical report, 185 libraries in the art and cultural mosque societies and 190 in the mosques are actively providing services to the people.
Mohammad Hadi Neya also reported the availability of more than 20 thousand books in the mosque libraries of the province and concluded: organizing educational courses for the librarians and distribution of softwares are other programs of the secretariat.
